Stratasys New Triple-Jetting 3D Printers

Expanding multi-material opportunities for designers and manufacturers.

Debuting at IMTS (Internation Manufacturing Technology Show) in Chicago, Stratasys has up its game once more!

Introducing the Objet500 Connex1 and Objet500 Connex2 that allows designers and manufacturers more options to shape the way things are made.

The new 3D printers are able to combine multiple materials and high throughput for prototyping and production tooling using Stratasys’ unique triple-jetting technology.

This enables users to construct their models with up to three different materials or mix numerous material droplets to model new digital materials such as tough Digital ABS. Taking advantage of the technology of digital materials, users can broaden the range of 3D printing material options which enhance the creation’s accuracy for both models and prototypes as well as production tooling, mold cores and cavities for short-run injection molding.

More About the Objet500 Connex1 and 2

1. Up to three materials in one print run or even in one part — no assembly needed.

Users are able to create assemblies with components that contain both rigid and flexible materials, such as rubber-like Tango and rigid Vero materials.

2. Double material capacity and increasing unattended run time

With a bigger material cabinet that can contain up to eight cartridges, increasing productivity, allowing users to reload material and support cartridges during production.

With the improve technology made available; 3D printing has evolved yet again!
