Creatz3D held a 3D Printing in the Food Manufacturing Industry Workshop on 29th June at the Creatz3D showroom, where invited guests were engaged in the implementation of 3D printing for their businesses.
3D printing adoption has been growing exponentially in many industries but this is not the case with the food manufacturing industry in Singapore. The focus of the workshop was to educate guests in the evaluation of 3D printing options and assess if it was a fit for their businesses.
Ms. Sally Chuen, Application and Sales Manager of Creatz3D, touched on how 3D printing opens up new possibilities in the food industry with regards to customizable products, quick turnaround time, and on-demand printing. Applications Engineer, Mr. Cheong Zhi Sheng, presented on the numerous 3D printing opportunities that are available for the food manufacturing industry, one of which was between Creatz3D and Modern Pak, for their customized packaged molds.
The highlight of the seminar was a factory tour where guests witness the seamless integration of 3D printing with the food manufacturing operations of packaging mold company, Modern Pak.
