Desktop Metal begins Studio System shipment to European customers
Desktop Metal has announced that international shipments of the Studio System to customers and resellers in Europe have begun, as they take a further step in making metal 3D printing accessible to manufacturers and designers in an office-friendly environment for prototyping and low volume production.
Having garnered strong adoption in North America from leading companies like Ford, Goodyear, and more, the Studio System is now CE certified for international compatibility and meet the impressive demand of the European market. Shipment is expected to take 8 weeks or sooner for customers in Europe who place their orders today.
Ahead of today’s shipping announcement, Desktop Metal had been working with several strategic customers across Europe and obtained valuable feedback for their technology.

The Studio System consists of a 3-part solution which comprises of a printer, debinder, and furnace, and is a fully-automated metal AM process accessible from the cloud. Besides enabling faster print rates for metal parts, special facilities, expensive tooling, and highly skilled operators common with past metal AM processes are also eliminated.
Apart from America, Canada, and Europe which are now seeing shipments, interested customers from the Asia Pacific, EMEA, and Mexico can also check with their local resellers to make their reservations. Desktop Metal currently has a network of 85 sales partners and resellers across the world as they continue to broaden their overseas growth.
