Medical Manufacturing Asia 2016

Medical Manufacturing Asia 2016 was held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, the biennial event has been successful since 2012.  Jointly organized by Singapore Precision Engineering and Tooling Association (SPETA) and Messe Düsseldorf Asia (MDA), the exhibition attracted more than 6200 trade attendees and about 200 exhibiting companies from 20 countries.

This year, Medical Manufacturing Asia 2016 was also jointly held along with the Medical Fair Asia exhibition. Where the Medical Manufacturing Asia exhibition focuses on medical technology and manufacturing process and solutions while Medical Fair Asia is a regional medical and healthcare exhibition focusing on equipment and supplies for the hospital, diagnostic, pharmaceutical, medical and rehabilitation sectors.

Creatz3D is honored to have represented Singapore in this exhibition, showcasing the different benefits and applications that 3D Printing has to offer in the medical field. In addition, our General manager Mr Sean Looi gave a presentation about the possibilities of 3D Printing Technologies in the Medical field, in specifics “Mass Customization of components”. We were glad to have been given the opportunity along with the attendees of both the exhibition and presentation, expand on the possibilities of 3D Printing Technologies in the Medical field.

At the Medical Manufacturing Asia 2016 this year, Creatz3D showcased several new and intriguing applications such as the building of Microfluidics channel which is widely being used in the industry where low volumes of fluids are processed to achieved multiplexing, automation and high throughput screening.

Over the 3 days event, Creatz3D experienced an overwhelming interest and response on the 3D Printing technology. Many people are fascinated by the potential and the amazing technology behind Stratasys’s FDM and PolyJet machines and what it can produce and do.
