How the Desktop Metal Studio System Printer works

Following our quick take previously, we now have a new video with a more detailed look of how the Studio System printer works and some key features such as easy material changes and high-resolution printing.

Utilizing Bound Metal Deposition (BMD) technology which is similar to how Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) printers work, “green parts” are produced by the printer which is followed by debinding and sintering to become a sturdy metal part.

In this video, Ethan Rejto, Engineer at Desktop Metal, gives a detailed overview of how amazing, effortless and simple it is to operate the Studio System Printer to print “green parts.”
